NYFW
Production & Stylist Assistant
During my studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I earned a certificate in Fashion Styling Fundamentals, which opened the door to behind-the-scenes work at New York Fashion Week. I assisted stylists on shows for Marc Jacobs, Coach, and Juicy Couture, gaining firsthand experience in fast-paced fashion production and talent coordination.
One of the most impactful projects I worked on was the Fashion 4 Development First Ladies Luncheon, an annual event that marks the opening of the United Nations General Assembly and brings together diplomats, designers, public figures, and international media. The show featured collections from Sandriver Cashmere and Wang Feng Couture, highlighting sustainability, philanthropy, and global craftsmanship. My primary responsibilities included assisting with technical pre-show rehearsals, coordinating show pacing, supporting lighting and runway flow, and ensuring models and talent were prepared and on schedule backstage. The experience gave me an inside look into large-scale fashion event production and strengthened my ability to work under pressure while maintaining strong organization and communication across teams.
